APR Energy Partners with Generation W to Empower Women Nationwide
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville-based APR Energy and Generation W announced today that they have formed a strategic alliance to educate, inspire and connect women across the First Coast and beyond.
As a Generation W Foundation partner, APR Energy will serve as an ambassador of Generation W and its initiatives, using its resources to leave fingerprints and heart prints on people’s lives to make a distinct impact in the communities in which we live, work and play.

And, she’s not alone in our company’s team of bright and capable women. Joining Generation W allows us to share Libby’s story to inspire others.”
APR Energy’s commitment is designed to support a wide range of Generation W’s premier, impactful events and activities throughout 2018, including the following:
Generation W “Rise & Shine” Signature Event: This national event—held annually in Jacksonville, this year on April 13, 2018—consistently brings a compelling program of thought provoking topics, creating greater awareness and understanding of the relevant and resonant issues of our time and the action steps available to affect change.
Generation WOW: This year-round program focuses on connecting girls to the positive and the possible through personal and leadership development, community service, WOW clubs, quarterly WOWsdom programs, an annual conference, and a mentorship experience with women from diverse career paths. APR Energy’s female leaders will take part in a month-long series to share the experiences that shaped their path, along with the skills, attributes and resources needed to succeed.
Generation WORKS: A dedicated day of service that brings sustainable change and impact to northern Florida neighborhoods. APR Energy’s involvement includes participation in and support of community projects designed to improve quality of life for residents in the greater Jacksonville community.

APR Energy is proud to be the inaugural partner of “WOWsdom! The Girls’ Guide to the Positive and the Possible”, Generation W’s newly released book. In addition to a local WOW club, APR Energy will be donating WOWsdom! to the PACE Center for Girls programs across Northeast Florida and beyond. This unique and vibrant book will be inspirational in the lives of thousands of teenage girls who will be empowered by personal lessons and intimate stories shared by many of today’s leaders.
