Ontario, Canada - 20 Megawatts, Gas Turbine
20MW of Tempest Gas Turbine generation in Ontario, Canada, The installation and commissioning timeline from the customer for Ontario was only 16 days from arrival of the three gas turbine generating sets on site. This represented an incredible challenge to APR’s execution team and also tested the rapid start-up capabilities of the Transportable Tempest. All three Tempests were installed and ready to run within 7 days of arrival on site. This site was developed as a peaking plant to help ensure the Ontario region of Canada had a reliable source of power during the winter months.

Pampa Melchorita, Peru- 20MW – Gas Turbines
APR supplied the three Transportable Tempest Gas Turbine Generating Sets to CB&I Peru, to provide reliable power to the installation and commissioning camp for the new Pampa Melchorita LNG facility. The equipment will be operational for a 36-48 month term and in this case training is being provided to enable CB&I to be responsible for all ongoing operation and maintenance. The 3 Tempest solution provided the operational flexibility required for this project. The electrical demand will steadily increase as construction activities ramp up on site and will eventually reach a total of 20MW.

Tallahassee, FL USA- 50MW – Gas Turbines
The City of Tallahassee inquired about the installation of up to 100MW of temporary power to support summer peaking. Due to unforeseen circumstances relating to their existing generation capacity, they were evaluating the possibility of temporary power to securitize the supply to the Tallahassee area. The decision was finally made to enter into a contract with APR for 50MW of gas fired generation, with an option to expand with an additional 50MW at a later date. The turnkey solution was operational within 30 days
